1989-90 I won the first prize, a Wurlitzer 1015 with Coca-Cola advertising in a competition in a Swedish newspaper. I was told that there were only 10 copies of this particular model in the world (with coca cola advertising). I wonder if anyone knows what it could be worth today. It holds 50 CDs and receive coins

The volume control is on the rear left side inside of a small red metal box.

1o15 Volume control is on the RH side as you face the machine, the on/off is on the LH. There should also be a small REJECT pushbutton in the middle of the RH side, just below the lowest mirror row.

Have a fully restored Wurlitzer 1015 (was restored in the 1980’s by Jim Davies of F.U.N. which was a store that specialized in slot machines and juke boxes. Other than the coin unit, the machine is fully working and restored. I purchased it 30 years ago and only had to replace tubes and have the original speaker re-coned. Anyone with $15K in their pocket, they can buy a piece of history. Plays 78’s (was not modified to play 45’s).

I am looking for a record holder part number 33667 for my 1015. If anyone haas information about where I can find one I would love to hear from you. I would also like to find replacement plastic sections for the door. Mine are damaged due to too high wattage light bulbs many years ago. I’m wondering what a 1080 box is? A long time ago I got a working 1015 with a nice case, but it didn’t have the bubble tubes or heaters. Otherwise it’s identical to a 1015. Later I got the tubes and repro plastics but never got around to installing them. Any idea what the current value might be? Art

Josh: Tell your dad that if there are only “very minor imperfections” on his 1015, to leave it alone. Many collectors don’t want their machines to look like they just left the factory. Go over the outside lightly with Endust or very lightly with Pledge and be done with it.

Josh, Steve, Darryl: A 1015 in really nice original condition now sells for more than $16,000 plus shipping in many cities. They are also popular in Japan. Heck, I paid nearly $9,000 for mine (with the coin mechanism) more than 20 years ago!

I think these are awesome machines. I’m building a replica Wurlitzer. In the top part where the buttons are will be my Tascam 4-track recording machine, In the centre where it says Wurlitzer will be my Yamaha drum machine and in the bottom will be my Line6 Spider Amp. Plug in my Strat and rock it out. Old school meets new school.

My dad has an all original 1015. One of the very first with serial number 039. It also has matching speakers. Everything is in working order except for some very minor imperfections. What direction can I give him on having this beauty touched up with a little TLC, and further how would he go about selling it for a reasonable offer?

Do you feel that the 1015’s are still a good investment over the long term? They still seem to be well over $6000.00 when I do see them for sale.
