I have a very old cedar chest made by Cavalier Furniture of Chattanooga,Tenn..Serial # c.o.5-1792.
It has both a key lock and a combination lock. I don't have the combination? Do you have it?

Do I need both the combination numbers and the key to open the cedar chest? I have a key that fits in the lock but won't turn. and is this because of the combination lock?

Will a locksmith be able to open the cedar chest? since it is approx.60 to 70 years oold?
Please help me..Thanks

I have a Cavalier C-51, but it's a 7 Up machine. I haven't seen one anywhere online. I know I can get parts for the C-51, but can you tell me more about how many of the C-51's of the 7 Up variety were made? Or any back story on?
Thanks in advance.

I have a friend who owns a model # c7-470 coke machine. It's not working due to compressor issues. The wiring diagram is so faded out I can't read it,same goes for the label on the compressor due to the machine spending its time outside.I need a wiring diagram & compressor info so I can replace it.Thank you very much,Tom Ogle

I have a coco cola cooler that has two holes in the end which appears to have cooled the water.
The only numbers that i can find are on the inside that says water line and CC 46 7
Do you know the age or who made this and if i can get the bottle openers and bottle cap catchers. Thanks

I have a cavalier model CSS-64G and the person I purchased it from said it kept bottles cold I got it home and plugged it in a week later and the motor runs fine the fan runs, the coin mechanism works great BUT it isnt getting cold. How long does it take for a machine to run after a month or so being off before it shows signs of getting cold? Any help appreciated

Any suggestions? We have a water cooled Coca Cola cooler in really great shape. It's been stored in a closed store for decades. It has a plate on the back that says Tennessee Furniture Company. We couldn't find the name Cavalier on it anywhere, just the Tennessee Furniture Company. Serial number of 7401. ANY guesses to how old or any info on it? Is it worth trying to remove it from an old building or leave it there? ANY help is appreciated. THANKS

I have a cavalier c9-342, I know it is not as old as some but nevertheless, I need help. I cant find the key and read on the post about drilling out the old lock...How! Also I want to get this working with the correct charge for a coke. I believe it is set at .50 and I want to make it $1.00. I have this in my basement and only my kids use it but I want them to "think before they drink"...HEY that is a new slogan!!!

I have a coca-cola vending machine that I believe was manufactured by the company. I was wondering if I provided a serial and model number and the condition if the machine, if someone could tell me the year of the machine and possibly a very rough estimate of it's value I would be very much appreciative.

Thank you,

I have a Dixie Narco DN 150-5 and was hoping you could refer me to a electronic shop somewhere in San Bernadino Ca ( or anywhere) that sells old electronic parts. I am looking for the can release solinoid assy, and I heard that this places sales this kind of thing when they run across them, some company that services the newer DN machines referred me to their field service man, and he told me about it but I didn't get the name.
Thanks for any help or referral

I have a LaCrosse EC-81 soda machine that I can't get to release the bottle dispensing mechanism. Please help - if I rewire it hot, I can get it to stay open so I know I can bypass the coin-op and get power to it but I'd like to use the coin-op (coinco FPB9800) which otherwise seems to work great, it takes money properly and gives change, you can manually lower the dispensing switch & it makes noise, just won't release the bottles - no power to the solinoid it seems. Is this a logic board problem? Any advice would be great, thanks in advance!

I recently purchased a Cavalier CAV-120.

It runs but I would like to restore / replace some of the pieces. Do you know who might have parts for this machine, or where I might find a repair manual?

I picked up a very decent CS-64 (D or E, not sure how to distinguish) this past weekend. Looks like it spent quite a bit of it's life indoors, needs a little shot of freon. The mech was set for 20 cents.

Not pristine, not worth as much as the round-tops, but I'm happy with it! Ran across this post while researching parts, etc. Great site... thanks! -from a first time Coke vending machine owner...

Debbie,

It was made prior to 1960, because that year is when they stopped producing furniture. Sorry, but I don't have any more information than that.

We recently bought a used bed (headboard, footboard, and wood side rails)for my son's college apartment. When we started cleaning it we found a tag reading, "Tennessee Furniture Company." It's serial number stamp is 919. Do you have any additional information regarding this company or the age of the bed?
Thank you for any information you might post.

Mark,

From your description, it looks like you have a Cavalier USS-96 which was manufactured in the 1970s. Try this link: <a href="http://soda-machines.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=293&Itemid=14" rel="nofollow">http://soda-machines.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=293&Itemid=14</a>
This site also offers a forum to post your machine, and ask for a value on it. We can't help you out with the worth, as we are not appraisers.

I HAVE A CAVALIER COKE MACHINE FULLY RESTORED BY SWIRE COCA COLA IN SALT LAKE CITY TO ORIGINAL CONDITION. IT IS A USS12-96 SERIAL NUMBER 43014. I CAN'T FIND ANY PHOTOS OR INFO ON THE EXACT DATE OF THIS MACHINE. ANY IDEA WHEN IT WAS MANUFACTURED AND WHAT IT IS WORTH IN PERFECTLY RESTORE CONDITION.
