I have an fd2…cools has vent plate, the bottle grate and needs interior cooling fan…looing to sell or get info…these dont have cooling fans.

I have a Cavalier Cola machine. It has a problem with spraying rust out on the cola cans. It is cooling just fine, but sometimes when you get a cola out of it, there will be rust on the can. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Is that the one that sold today, 4/25/10? One went for $290 today at “Auction Solutions” auction. It was in pretty nice condition but I dropped out of the bidding at the end. I just have too much stuff and no room in my truck after I bought a pinball game. Curiously, when I checked out the cooler was on my purchased list.

For lost keys, you can either try to purchase a key that matches the lock number on your machine, or you can replace the lock mechanism. This requires drilling the lock, turning it with a flat head screwdriver to open it, removing the lock, and replacing it.

As we are no longer in the restoration business, we cannot give an estimate on your machine’s value. You can try ebay or Craig’s List, sometimes machines pop up there, and that will give you an estimate on the value of your machine.

I have one that I restored several years ago. I’m not sure there is/was a grill on the back. On mine there were no screw holes that would indicate anything missing. There may have been a cover that went over the compressor area if that’s what you mean. Any locksmith should be able to fabricate the double-sided key. I am also a locksmith and it was no big deal. They are really neat display pieces when done.

Don’t know how good (rusty) your interior box is, but mine had a few holes. I cleaned it up and had a truck bedliner sprayed in. Helps keep it cooler too.

I have several CC items…..A floor model “wet box” (w/out elect) with bottle opener and butterfly top , all insets, racks,… 1963 Christmas calender, various toys etc. Also a carry tin for a 6 pack. Many bottles too numerous to mention.

We do not own this machine. For parts, try fun-tronicsllc.com or sodajerkworks.com. They might have the grill, or be able to direct you in the right direction. They also sell new locks and keys. Good luck on your restoration, it sounds like its going to turn out really well.

I have a office cooler FD-2 that I am restoring. I have all the origional parts other then the grill that goes on the back by the floor. I would like to find one and have a duplicate made. This is one item that many who have the office cooler are missing. If you have one and would like to sell it or the entire machine please let me know. I am also missing the key. The lock says oF 201 if you have the same number on the lock I would like to get a duplicate of the key made. Thanks Russell.
