I just acquired a glasco slider (gbv 50) and the entire cooling system has been removed. Otherwise it is in good condition. Where can i get a replacement system, original or reproduction?

I just bought a GBV-50 today. It is a little rough..some rust here and there. It is missing the inside rack and the coin-op assembly. However, it does work and cool. I would be happy to part it out or buy the parts needed mentioned above. I can let it go in its current condition for $500…which based on my research is a great deal. Let me know if either you want parts from mine or if you have the parts to complete mine. Thanks much to all!!

I am OWNER of the TRADEMARK & Company, “Ideal Dispenser.” I have fabricated my own cooler, model 85, and am considering taking orders for the original design, totally new, hand fabricated Ideal Cooler. I’d be curious to hear comments. I can also fabricate parts and pieces to model 85. If you own a different model and are missing pieces, I also maybe able to help you out. I do have original manual to my model. Will be happy to send photos, if you send me your request and email address. My trademark is of course, completely protected.

I have a GBV-50 that has a fair amount of rust, original lid has been re hinged a few time, power cord has been cut off so I do not know if it works or not. I’m using is as a prop in a photo studio. I have considered taking the guts out of it so it is not so heavy, would that be a foolish thing to do?

I HAVE A GLASCO GBV-50. THE CONDITION IS AS FOLLOWS: SOME AREAS OF PAINT ARE SCRATCHED, THE COMPRESSOR COOLS, THE MECHANISM FOR REMOVAL OF THE BOTTLES WILL NOT RELEASE, AND A COIN INSERTED DOES NOT REMEDY THIS PROBLEM. I have an operating Glasco, just like this one in my garage (with good cold beer inside). My question is about the original lid. Is there a place I can buy a lid that has the diagram of the slider printed on it? Also, where could i get a listing of parts in case I need them?
