I have a coke picnic cooler that I am restoring. I was wondering if it is not to much trouble to answer this question. How is the lettering done. Is is done after red and if so how spray or with a brush.

I don't know how to restore one but I'm doing the same thing right now (trying to) to an old Cronstroms 7up cooler and any insight would be great.

Great resto job. Does anybody know where/if you can get replacement rubber seals? I have an old coke cooler and the seal just crumbles in your hand.

Thanks.

Chris,

We aren't able to give estimates on the value of coolers. If you keep an eye on ebay or Craig's List, one is sure to pop up. That will give you a ballpark figure, but remember that value depends on condition.

Hello..

I saw your picnic cooler and I wonder if you can tell me what they are worth. I have one in good condition and would like to know what it's worth. It's not like the one in your picture but a little smaller like the top part of yours. Can send picture if you like.

do you have any info on pepsi picnic coolers? The one i have been looking at lately i'm unsure of its name, its bare alloy, flat lid hinged ,oblong shaped, the ends are polished alloy and the main body is ribbed alloy. In the center of the lid is a sort of clasp with a coke lid on it. On each end is brassy looking handles which can be removed one has bottle opener in it , any help would be nice, rgds rod

typo error pepsi lid on clasp not coke. rough idea of age would be good i suppose its not that old because the pepsi lid only has the one dot?

Hi Rod,
If you find pic nic coolers in really nice or mint original condition it is best to leave them alone. If however you have a cooler that is in fair shape and has all the parts and wont be alot of work to restore it is probably worth restoring. Now if the cooler is rusted and dented and missing parts do not bother. It will cost you too much time and money to make it right.
Hope this helps.
