Coca-Cola Soda Pop Dispenser

A big change in soda fountain dispenser design was seen with the introduction of the Dole Citation Dispenser in June of 1958. Manufactured by the Dole Valve Company of Chicago, Illinois, it reflected a totally new, modern design. It was Dole’s first dispenser to be made mostly of plastic. It was a square countertop model with a 1-gallon capacity.

Technology had advanced by 1962 so that dispensers were offered as either ice-cooled or mechanically refrigerated systems. The Dole Citation was produced through 1964 and was the predecessor to the multi-head self-serve soft drink dispensers we see in use at fast food restaurants nowadays.

Dimensions: 13.5”H x 17.75”L x 10.5”W
Weight: 39 lbs.

    Jacquie,

Try fun-tronicsllc.com or call them at (217) 857-1759. Also try eBay or Craig’s List. Sometimes items like this pop up. Keep in mind value depends on condition of the dispenser.

I have a Dole Citation Coca-Cola dispenser like the one pictured on this site. It needs restoration and I cannot even be certain I have all the parts. Any ideas of where I could sell it?

I have a 1960’s Dole Director dispenser, and I need the liquid catch that goes below the nozzles. Where can I find one?

    Hi Ashton

It’s called the drip tray. Maybe try Americansodafountain.com out of Chicago. I had one custom made by a professional stainless steel guy in Canada about 8 years ago but he closed and moved away?? he made it exactly to detail and he also made the small stainless grate that fits on top ledge of the drip tray to rest the cup on. The photo above does not show the small grate being there. If I recall he only charged me about $40.00 ! maybe thats why he went out of business. the whole drip tray unit is mounted by only one screw that goes directly thru the front as the photo shows.

    good luck

    thx Terry

I have one of the Dole countertop dispensers. How do you hook them up? Is a carbonator needed. Supply lines and fittings availible?

    Hello,
I have the Dole LV3. I need the bottom mount that holds it to a counter top. Does anyone have this piece?

    Thanks
    Chris

I restore many Coke coolers, fountains, etc. I’m finishing an LV3 now for a client. Fairly simple restoration. I have some access through clients/collectors to parts. I also fabricate parts in aluminum, stainless etc.
