Soda Vending Machine

The Frostidrink Cup Soda Vendor

I don’t know too much about this machine except it was invented by W.W. Bowman of Dallas, Texas in the late 30’s. Amazing what you find when you google something. The machine appears to be a 3-selection cup vendor done up in Royal Crown Cola. Nothing too exciting about it, but I thought the pictures were neat. The pictures look to be from the late 40’s or early 50’s with the machine in some sort of university. One of the pictures is labeled “The P.K. Younge School of Experimental Education”. Has anyone ever heard of it? University of Florida at Gainesville?

Please let us know if you have any information on the machine or the location.

I have been searching high and low for a photo of a machine like these here. We had one in our old theater in our small town in Oklahoma. I don’t recall it being this nice but I will never forget the taste of those sodas. I remember ours being smaller (I think it was smaller anyway) and we had 4 soda flavor choices on a dial. The cups were super small. Do you know of any other companies that made these or do you have any other models of machines?
