I have tried it. Originally they held a short stick of gum, about a third or quarter shorter than a stick of Wrigelys. I believe they were made by the Adams Gum Co. They gave them away at the bank too. However, Fleers' Double Bubble Bubble Gum with the comics, will work pretty well. They occasionally get stuck but, not often. - Peace Out Chiclets will not work in this vending machine! I have tried it.
