Mike,

Assuming you have a Coca-Cola machine, it does vend 6.5 oz bottles. These bottles are no longer made, so that is why the distributor does not have them. I'm not sure about the drum being wrong, I'm guessing the problems are from having the wrong size bottles loaded.

Addition to previous post. There seems to be to much clearance between the bottle separators and inside ring. The bottles loaded higher up will fall through to the lower divider. I just aquired this machine and wonder if it has the wrong drum in it.

I have a vendo 27 and can't figure out how to load it. I have seen the specs for one that say it takes 6.5 oz bottles. I called the distributor and was told the smallest they ever sold was 8oz. I loaded the machine with these and the bottles just jam up. The bottles just don't seem to set right in the machine. I assume they all go in neck first.

Jamie,

As we are not appraisers, we cannot give you a value for your machine. You can try ebay or Craig's list to see if there are any posted that might help you out. Also, this is a website with a forum where you can ask for values, and see other machines that are selling.

I own a Vendorlator VMC 27 Coke machine that has been in my family office since 1962. I have since sold the family business and am interested in selling the machine. I would class it in good condition. It has the bottom stand just like the machine shown in the first two photos. The machine was converted by Coke to 10 cents before my time. Contact me if interested and I can send pics and further details.

I don't want to sound ungrateful, because I do appreciate it, but I've seen that site, and I was really hoping to find an authentic stand instead of a repro, especially considering they're asking $450 for some welded, unpainted steel that really has no collectible value. Surely there must be some awesome Coca-Cola graveyard somewhere in the US where I can find the original?

We aren't able to give estimates on the value of an item. If you keep an eye on Ebay or Craig's List, your item is sure to be listed at some point. That may give you a rough idea of it's value but keep in mind to compare apples to apples. Prices vary greatly depending on condition. If anyone can help with a value of this item please comment.

We recommend you check out Fun-Tronics LLC. for soda machine restoration parts. They have a good variety of quality parts.
