I have a vintage coke machine (model # VFA56CC) with a missing key. The circular lock doesn't have a code under it like I was told it should. Does anyone know how to get a replacement key? Also, I can find no information about the model # of my machine, only the VF56CC. Thanks

I have a VF 165 everything works except the sodas are warm. This machine sat for about 10 years before I put it back into service. I have had back in service for about a month, it was runnig great until about a week ago. It starting running warm since. I have cleaned the condenser and removed all of the dust and dirt in that area. I have turned the machine off and attempted to restart and still it is not cooling the sodas. Can you help me with my next move? Thank you

I have a VMC 149A (automatic) that is too nice to restore. I have had it for over 25 years. It works perfectly and I would like to sell it. Does anyone know anything about it? I have heard that the 149 automatic is rare? I haven't been able to locate any on ebay or craigslist in the last 3 years so I'm not sure what it is worth. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a soda machine with the numbers G-16096. It is a small chest type. Not coin operated. The motor still works good. It is red but may have been painted that way. No decals or brand name so I"m stuck on what it may have been. Its been in my garage for 25 years and would like to restore it. I do not want to make it a coke machine if it wasn't orginally. It is really in excellent shape, just needs to be painted the proper color with the right decals. Any answers?

I have a VMC.33, serial #33-34930. I live in Seattle, WA and would like to know if you know anyone who can tell me what I need to do to get the machine in running order again. It’s a 10 cent machine. Thank you. The motors runs when plugged in, but I don't know if it will get cold enough for sodas. Also have money stuck in the change dispenser. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I'm looking for information on a mid 60s pepsi machine.
serial # 16562B56D or 165628560. Not sure if they are numbers or letters. The model #vf56D-SA.
It's a multi colored machine with 7 bottle racks. It takes 25 cents for a bottle in nickels. Needs work but would look cool when restored. The bottle caps that showed the drink flavors are from Sun Crest. Thanks for any info.

I have a Vendorlator Dr Pepper machine, model VF90D-C, Serial #510026047. I cannot seem to locate anything on it. It appears that many owners before me tried to get into it with a variety of keys and screwdrivers. I have a lock opener kit and have had no luck getting it open. If anybody could give me some information on it I would appreciate it.

I'd like info on a 7-UP Vendorlator, Model VF128, mfg in Kansas City, Missouri. Probably between 1958 and 1988. What would the value be? Looks good. I cannot find one like it on the internet. Not sure yet how well it works.

I have recovered from a basement of an old building, a vendolator coke machine. A friend thinks it is a 149A? It does look like the picture of a 149A listed above. I would like to confirm what it is and then get it operational. Most of the dates on the inside of the machine say 1954 or 1955. How can I confirm what the machine is?

Hello, I need a key for a Coke model #33. Can you please tell me where I might get one, or if there is another key that might work that I can purchase? Thank you. I am trying to find it for a friend that has the machine.

I have a Vendolater VFA562 B Canada Dry vending machine and haven't been able to find any information on it. Do you know anything about it? It needs restoration but it is in the Portland ME area. It's the upright kind with a vertical row of bottles on the left that are released when you put in the coins. The soda is labelled as being 10 cents each,

I have a VMC 88. It has not been running for about 18 years. I plugged it in and it started running, but I discovered the evaporator fan motor not running. The coil is freezing up. Where can I find an evaporator fan motor for it. The serial number is 4173-B13
Also, where can I find the stickers to replace on this machine.

I have a vendo vmc 27 that someone has ground down the v on the bottle separators down about 5/8" so now the gap between the bottle separators and the inside ring is larger so now the original size bottles just fall down on each other and jamming the machine. This must have been done to accomadate a different bottle but I don't know what bottle. Anybody have any suggestions?

Jami,

We have been out of the restoration business for awhile, and can't give estimates. You can try this <a href="http://soda-machines.com/discussions/index.php" rel="nofollow">http://soda-machines.com/discussions/index.php</a> or check out ebay or Craig's List to see if there are any machines listed there like yours.

I have a VMC-24A that was in this building when I bought it. The exterior is in mint condition, coin mechanism works fine, had the lock replaced. The interior and refrigeration unit need refurbishing. It works but I'm afraid to leave it plugged in since the wiring is old, etc. Anyone have any suggestions as to places that do refurbs on these machines? I am in Oklahoma, so some place close would be great.

thinking of buying a V.M.C. model #33 and I am aware that it dispenced 8 oz bottles but was uncertain if it could dispence 12 or 16 oz bottles also. Have looked high and low and have seen a few comments that yes it could but have never seen what I would consider a reliable source stating that it would. hope you could help me clear up this matter. Thanks Sam

Steve,

A lot of collectors keep an eye on ebay and Craig's List for items like this. You can also find out how to price it by looking at similar models. I'm sure it will sell if you post it on these sites. Good luck!

My maintenance personnel located a VMC-88 Coca Cola machine(still plugged in and cold inside) last week while cleaning out a storage room.
I realize it has some value to it after some research.
I don't have the time to restore it(even though it looks pretty good for it's age and is still working), but was just hoping you had some thoughts as what to do with it since it's very apparent you guys are the experts.
Thank you in advance,
Steve

I have a Vendorlator Pepsi machine, I think the model number is VP56R-G.
Can you tell me when this was made? Everything on the machine is working except that the lock is broken. The cost for soda was .10¢

John,

When we were in the restoration business, we saw a few of these, probably one in fifty. So the machine might be somewhat rare, but we don't think it is necessarily more valuable.

I have owned VMC-33 since 1985. I am interested in selling it now. Everything works fine and is good shape. I have found similar models on EBAY and craigslist to try and get a selling cost. My unit has a factory installed dolly system with wheels and handle incorporated into unit. Are these rare,? I cant find any information on them. Everthing is painted by original red paint.

Karlie,
We aren't able to give estimates on the value of an item. If you keep an eye on Ebay or maybe Craig's List, your item is sure to be listed at some point. That may give you a rough idea of it's value, and will provide more information on the specific model, and most likely the year it was produced. You can also contact fun-tronicsllc.com for more specific information on machines.

I recently acquired a coke machine that I cannot determine the era (or year) it was made. The Model number is VF56PB-G and there is the slogan of "Here's the real thing" on the side. It is Vendolator machine. Any information you can provide on it's history is appreciated.

I have a 1940's Vendalator, with the old drinking water fountain on the side. I am interested in selling it. It is in pretty good shape and could easily be restored. I can furnish a picture via e mail if anyone is interested. Thanks, Jane Freeman

Try fun-tronicsllc.com
They have a great variety of parts for machines, and might be able to help with the value. Otherwise, keep checking ebay and Craig's List, sometimes they pop up there.
