  • 18 vintagevending // Apr 17, 2009 at 5:05 pm

We aren’t able to give estimates on the value of an item. If you keep an eye on Ebay or maybe Craig’s List, your item is sure to be listed at some point. That may give you a rough idea of it’s value but keep in mind to compare apples to apples. Prices vary greatly depending on condition. If anyone can help with a value of this item please blog in.

Does anyone know the names or where I can find the soda machines that had a small compartment in the front with a lift sliding door that would drop a cup in the compartment, then drop ice in the cup, then fill it with the soda you selected? The best tasting Coca Cola in the world came from these!

I have a vintage diner sign I am trying to sell. This is a vintage 1950’s blue diner sign. It is the kind that you slide the letters into. It is in great shape. It is heavy metal with a plexi glass type front cover. It is approx. 18 inches from top to bottom and about 4 foot across. It is that great retro blue color. I’m not sure if they are called signs or billboards. If you email me back I can send you a photo. RubinaSoulslinger@yahoo.com You can also call me at 614-323-9698.

    Thank you
    Bill

I believe they used a roller, similar to one you would use for painting a wall but smaller diameter and made of soft rubber.

  • 57 Francie Wylie // Mar 19, 2010 at 9:53 am

We have a Pepsi cola , double dot slider. Where is a good source for parts. Specifically, the slider mechanism.

Does anyone have used parts for sale??

Also, I cannot find any information on a cooler made by Progress Refrigeration co. Model K101.
It has two sliding doors on the top, is on legs, has places for some kind of shelving on the interior and is not refrigerated. You can only put ice in the bottom of it to cool the interior.
    Was originally Red, now black.
